Pachanga Boys

Once upon a time there were two young boys who felt they had something simple and beautiful to say. They wanted to talk of love, joy and being touched by life. Their names are Superpitcher and Rebolledo, together they are Pachanga Boys and they are trying to make the world a better place with their Hippie Dance.

grew up in the south of Germany, alone and lonely. He started to collect music at 16, seduced by the soft sounds of Prefab Sprout, Scritti Politti, and Roxy Music. A decade later he found himself working in the distribution department of KOMPAKT and found new heroes – Wolfgang Voigt, Chain Reaction, Joerg Burger and Air Liquide – men that linked his sonic youth and adult aspirations. Following the release of his landmark 2001 single, “Heroin” he gave up work, deciding to forge a new nocturnal lifestyle, increasing his DJing, steadied his socializing and worked on perfecting his studio production skills – nothing less than engulfing electronic pop and shimmering, glimmering techno. Today, Superpitcher has managed to accumulate a lovely discography of diversity including his unforgettable version of Brian Eno’s “Baby’s On Fire”, the acclaimed full length “Here Comes Love”, the adored mix CD “Today” and remixes for many including Dntel, Quarks, M83 and DJ Hell. Superpitcher keeps on a constant touring schedule and is now touring in support of his recently completed album titled "Kilimanjaro," which is available now!

Rebolledo, who was born and raised in Xalapa, Mexico, started Djing in 2002 and became quickly one of the residents of the legendary "Santanera", in Playa Del Carmen, at the mexican caribbean. There he developed his very own style of playing, mixing old and new odd dancetracks, driven by a persistent groove of disco.

Feeling the necessity of links between tracks he used to play in the club, he started developing his own rough and edgy rhythms. Matias Aguayo, whom he had played with several times at  his night in the "Santanera" got interested in his material, helped him to develop it and to share it with people, who had a similar taste or motivation... later Rebolledo should become fundamental member of the label "Cómeme" , as a result of these friendships and efforts...

After having debuted on "Cómeme" with his underground club hit "pitaya frenesi", he now has released his first solo 12"  - "GUERRERO", also on comeme, and we should not forget his project appearance as "PACHANGA BOYS" together with Superpitcher, on the KOMPAKT TOTAL 10 compilation...
