We are happy to be partnering up with Burn City Disco to welcome UK artist Joey Negro for a 4 hr set at Bourke Street Courtyard. The house and disco auteur has been producing music for close to three decades, making a name for himself arguably as one of house music’s major players. Synonymous with soulful, disco-tinged music, no-one treats a loop, groove or hook with as much care and attention as Joey Negro. With a string of releases on Z Records, Feel The Rhythm, BBE, Better Days Records, and PPR, his 2017 LP ‘Produced With Love’ was his first album released in over 20 years, followed by his 2019 Joey Negro Essentials Compilation, which perfectly encapsulates the golden era that he has re-claimed as his own.
We are excited to be hosting our first event at Bourke Street Courtyard, a hidden gem within Melbourne's CBD. Featuring a leafy indoor/outdoor space, and tucked amongst sky-scrapers, we're settling into this garden paradise for a disco fuelled day party in the sun with Joey Negro.
Local support: Bertie, Big-Mac, Billy Sun, Dan Bentley, Fosta, Greetings, Mick Bowl & The Milkman
