Goodroom, our new weekly Sunday, is back. A Sunday to be spent in good company, soundtracked by an all-star cast. This time we welcome Novel and Associated Artists regular, Marli.
An artist who is quickly climbing the ranks as one of Naarm’s most beloved house purveyors, Marli has graced stages at Forum Melbourne, smalltown, Inward Goods Festival, Let Them Eat Cake’s main stage, Pitch Music & Arts notorious Pitch Black stage in 2020 and 2022, and soon to be Strawberry Fields in late October. As a producer, she’s featured on labels Yellow Island (BRA), Love Above Records (AUS), Backpocket Slammers (AUS), Revolver Upstairs The Late Show Record Label (AUS), Homage (NY), Velodrome (AUS), and her forthcoming EP/record ‘Mood Independent’ via ILIO Records is already tipped as one of the years favourite local releases. No doubt, she’s proving that her unique output that fuses elements of Detroit techno and Chicago House is a sound she's fostered with expert ease.
With our last few editions of Goodroom opening its doors to a full house, we recommend saving a spot ASAP. We’ll meet you at Goodroom.
