The last two years has seen us waiting patiently behind the starting line until we can take our marks, and kick things off with a bang. A heavyweight return calls for a lineup of gargantuan proportions. And for you, we haven’t held back.

Ben Klock, Gerd Janson + Stephan Bodzin (Live). Three global techno powerhouses, rarely seen together on one stage. Each of them individually exhibit a unique skilled output of techno and electronic genres, together the three of them can only be described as a dance music trifecta.

With three of the world’s most renowned techno titans soundtracking our return in 2021, you can expect the same level of production as featured at our curated events B3, Let Them Eat Cake, and Pitch Music & Arts.

Featuring stage and lighting by John Fish and unrestricted Funktion-One sound by Full Throttle Entertainment, smalltown is taking over a never before used inner-city location to host a top notch street rave, to so-long the year that was, and celebrate the year that will be. Ben Klock

A fixture in Resident Advisor’s top-10 DJs for the best part of a decade, Ben Klock needs little introduction. Having become a Berghain resident in 2005, he has since established himself at the forefront of Berlin’s modern techno movement, an ever-present symbol of the city’s vast musical landscape. His long-standing relationship with the notorious techno institution has formed the backdrop to his success, providing an invaluable platform that has allowed him to become one of the most in-demand DJ-producers of his generation. 

Gerd Janson

The DJ’s DJ. One of the most highly respected artists in the world of house and techno, Janson reconfigures the classics you already knew in unexpected ways – and introduces you to new classics before you’ll hear them played anywhere else. In addition to his work helming Running Back, Janson has also teamed up with Philip Lauer under the Tuff City Kids alias. 

Stephan Bodzin (Live)

Stephan Bodzin is unquestionably one of the most influential artists in the dance world today. A techno pioneer and enduring legend, Bodzin consistently finds ways to further propel his reign into dance music stardom. His dominance and prestige has recently gone from not only producing many of the greatest techno songs of all time, but into the synth drenched world of live performance. Bodzin produces a warm and electro-infused sound with melancholic melodies that thrive in his live show. With multiple albums, numerous releases, a record label and the headline slot at any festival or event worth its salt, Stephan Bodzin is quite literally on top of the world.
