London based, Belfast-born blogger-production- dj duo Matt McBriar and Andy Ferguson need little by way of introduction. Their ‘Feel My Bicep blog’ is the go-to place for tastemakers world-wide for lost and forgotten disco / Chicago house / Detroit techno / Italo edits and everything in-between. On a production tip, they have released on such labels as Throne Of Blood, Traveller Records, Mystery Meat and 2012 saw their critically acclaimed track $tripper get released on Love Fever hitting the top chart spots on Juno and selling out worldwide. Now with over 3 years of international touring behind them the duo set their focus on 2016 which has already proved to be a prominent year. Working on their debut album as well as releasing remixes and more one-off tracks. They remixed Isaac Tichauer with a track titled Higher Level as well as further mixes for Ian Pooley and Brassica. FMB006 also comes in the form of a Bicep remix, with the duo taking on the classic Blaze track Lovelee Dae, (To be released on Feel My Bicep Records in August of 2016.) A further Hammer collaboration for AUS Music’s 100th release, titled Aracari, was also put out in Summer 2016. Plans for FMB007 are set with the Bicep remixes of 808 State’s classic track ‘In Yer Face’ finally seeing the light of day. Following on from this FMB008 and 9 are both planned for release before the year ends. 2016 was also the year that saw Bicep develop a Live show. This was debuted at Moogfest in the US before touring a handful of consciously picked clubs and festivals, (Field Day in London, Ava Festival in Belfast and Sub Club in Glasgow.) These early live shows were predominantly seen as a teaser before more live touring in 2017.
Bound together with oozing soul and moody bass-lines, Isaac Tichauer's productions splice together classic and contemporary house concepts. A classically trained pianist and heavily influenced by the Detroit house scene, Isaac orchestrates a deep progressive energy in his music through detailed synth work, melancholy vocals and classic lead elements from Rhodes to strings.
In July 2013, Isaac was signed to FRENCH EXPRESS (USA) and debuted with his critically acclaimed full length album, "Devotion”, a release that gave the world a captivating first glance at Isaac’s production muscle and lengthy infatuation with the genre. A compelling first effort for a person born completely deaf and now living with just one working ear. Continuing his “exploration of classic sounds”, Isaac’s released his club hit “I Forgive You”, and more recently the “Take Over You” EP in May 2013 that saw Isaac’s compositions reach new heights enjoying regular play on BBC Radio One and Triple J Australia. Now residing in Berlin, Isaac works as a producer full time dedicating his time to a host of brand new productions and continuing his celebrated mixtape series.
