In a genre seemingly obsessed with revisiting the past, Âme look firmly to the future of dance music.
Part of the pair, Kristian Beyer’s symbiotic relationship with the productions allows for a twisted ability to arrange, deconstruct and distort the duo’s catalogue. The inception of their fifteen (15) plus year collaboration is impossible to pinpoint, woven between chance meetings, seminal introductions and unbridled curiosity. Despite a formidable career at the top, they manage not to be defined by their past but by what is to come. In partnership, their dual counterparts are identified as part of their artistry: Frank Frank Wiedemann, the composer or creative engine behind the live act and Beyer, the explorer as DJ – each of his marathons sets a voyage and a vision. Welcoming Beyer’s synthesis of melodies, rhythms and arrangements that influenced by decades of experiences.
